I've been working with hand-tied hair for over 22 years. Five years ago, I launched Isla Hand Tied Hair. I created this product based on my two decades of experience using hand-tied hair. Fifty percent of the extension system you choose is represented by the quality of hair paired with it. This is why I was so passionate about creating a luxury line of hand-tied hair. Isla was actually named after my third daughter. She was one of my scariest pregnancies with multiple complications along the way, but she came out healthy and happy. The crazy story is I named my hairline when I was pregnant with her, and she came out with a full head of platinum blonde hair, the most hair out of all of my babies. I knew it was meant to be!
Some of the things that make Isla Hair different are more grams per weft. Why is this important? I want the maximum amount of fullness without having to stack so many pieces on one row. Most invisible beaded row extensions have 5 to 7 pieces stacked per row; however, with Isla, we normally only stack 3 to 4 per row. This gives you lightweight feeling with a lot of hair and no bulkiness at the scalp. Another benefit of Isla Hair is less silicone. This creates a more natural appearance and longer-lasting colors. Did you know when the silicone wears off the hair? This is when the color is more likely to fade out. This was a big problem due to silicone ratio, so if you’re looking for more natural-looking extension hair with longer-lasting colors, you will definitely love Isla Hair.
My line has over 19 different colors. One of the biggest problems I faced with extensions was not getting that perfect blend. With so many different options available, this makes it easier for the artist to get the perfect shade and natural appearance for the client.

My natural hair is the worst. I always refer to having toddler hair. Therefore, air quality is extremely important because 90% of the hair you see is my extension hair. It was always a dream to create my own hairline, and now I’m kind of obsessed!
